Beautiful location, near to numerous walks and places to visit.
Small area which was perfect for us as we prefer a less buy camp site.
Facilities lovely and clean.
Host friendly and welcoming.

Excellent facilities. Obviously a professional and dedicated team.
Only criticism there were rusty nails on the top handstanding/ carpark, looked like left overs from fires.
Good pub the Trout Beck Inn within a mile also.

A lovely quiet site with picturesque views and clean shower and toilet facilities.
The owners were very helpful with getting us settled in and providing local information on request, they then afforded us privacy to enjoy our stay.
We didn't require electricity, as we enjoy primitive camping, however there is power provided for charging phones etc.
Overall, really good value.
Happy to recommend and will certainly consider staying there again, if in the area.

I stayed here one night whilst cycling the C2C. I was able to book via email and was asked to pay in advance (£15).
It was a small campsite with some static caravans unobtrusively on the other side of a fence. I think the campsite is the farm's lawn when there's no tents on it. It did slope a little, with some flat sections, so probably best for small tents.
The toilet, showers and washing up sink were clean and satisfactory, and it was everything I wanted for my stay.
If I'd wanted to walk to shops or pubs I think I was told it would be half an hour or so, but I'd come equipped.
