Welcome to Oxford Oak Camping. We are a basic family campsite with Fire pits, newly fitted Toilets and Hot Showers.
Our campsite is located behind Farmer Gow's Just of the A420 Oxford to Swindon road. We are very lucky to be in a real beauty spot and have good road links near by.
The fabulous views of the Ridgway and the Uffington White Horse are what we think makes ours the best campsite in the area!
Whether your looking for somewhere to simply relax with the family in a beautiful countryside setting, or a good base to explore the local area we are the site for you.
The campsite is located between two villages (Longcot & Fernham), this means we have two village pubs in walking distance, both family & dog friendly.
The camp site is located in the top field to the rear of Farmer Gow's, and benefits from being surrounded by hedgerow and has predominantly flat ground, making pitching that much easier, with no obstacles or obstructions.
We have communal fire pits to get everyone in the spirit and you can even purchase the firewood on site. Singing is optional, but fun is compulsory!
With Farmer Gow's on our doorstep, taking advantage of the fresh produce couldn't be easier. From fresh laid eggs, to hand reared meats, we can supply you with all the steaks, sausages, bacon and burgers you'll ever need. Prepared by a renowned local butcher, farm fresh meat is a tasty way to enjoy and support the countryside.
In an area steeped in history, the camp site lies within the Vale of the White Horse and offers stunning views of White Horse Hill, the oldest white horse in the country.
White Horse Hill, along with Dragon Hill, the Bronze Age Hill Fort Uffington Castle and the ancient burial ground of Waylands Smithy (Pictured left) are right on our doorstep whilst Avebury, with it's stone circle and Stonehenge are easily accessible by car, or by walking or cycling along the Ridgeway for the more adventurous among you.
