Killiechronan Campsite is a very basic site with spectacular views and an abundance of wildlife.
We don`t have electric hook ups so you need to be self sufficient.
We have very modest toilet facilities a short walk from the site which comprise of 2 toilets a wash hand basin and a wash up sink (no showers)
We do not have grey waste facilities but this can be arranged at nearby sites for a small fee.
We don`t take bookings as there is no need, its just turn up and and we will see you in the evenings.
The price is £7 pppn and half price for children
Loch na Keal sea loch sweeps inland along the islands west coast, with the Ardmeanach peninsula and Gribun cliffs hugging the south shore, and the coastline leading round past Killiechronan to the north. Inside the bay lies the uninhabited island of Eorsa, as well as the island of Inch Kenneth.
Nearby Attractions
Surrounded by pockets of woodland, sweeping hillsides, scree-covered peaks and a tidal sea loch, theres far more to see than landscapes alone.
Mulls big five could all be sighted in the local area, so keep your eyes to the skies for sea eagles, scan the hilltops for herds of deer, and choose a spot downwind with a view over the water in the hope of otters, seals and - for the very lucky - perhaps even dolphins too, who have been known to visit.
There are plenty of places to see and visit in Loch Na Keal. Whether you love hiking or cycling, Loch Na Keal is a region where hidden gems are waiting to be explored and visited.
