Very quiet and lovely views of the mountains and loch. Waders on the beach and deer on the mountains.
Long walk to basic facilities, toilet and washing up.
Excellent value and friendly.

Beautiful site.
So peaceful watching the tide come in and eat up the beach!
Sea eagle nesting within sight of the campsite.
Clean facilities and easy walk away.

An amazing part of the world. Wildlife in abundance, peaceful and very beautiful. As long as you are happy to be off grid (no tv or wifi) and walk about 150m to the very basic facilities (or use your own) you will love it.
Ate dinner by candlelight while chatting to a Dutch couple who found this magical spot was one of the amazing memories I will cherish.
I have rated it 10 out of 10 for child friendliness but there are no swing parks, crazy golf or ice cream vans on site. Plenty fresh air, swimming, fishing, bug hunting and walking. What else does a child need!

I almost don't want to leave a good review as I fear next time we visit word will have got out and the site will be be rammed!
We stayed as a family of 5 plus a dog with trailer tent and small tents for the kids for 8 nights.
The location is stunning, saw the Sea Eagles everyday (look on the Stoney spit of land in the loch first thing in the morning) and saw Otters only 5 min drive away.
Yes there is a bit of a walk to the facilities along a quiet road but they are spotlessly clean with constant very hot water, there is no shower but you can use the showers at Tobermory unless you want to bath in the river!
Some sites now seem to advertise themselves as a 'back to nature' site with few facilities and seem to feel they can charge more for having less, They do not do this here, the pricing is very fair and the owners very friendly and approachable.
We have stayed here 3 times now, like Arnie says. "we'll be back". Again!

It's described as a basic campsite and it is pretty basic but it's located in a beautiful area which makes up for things!
The ground was a bit undulating in places but we managed to back the van into a spot between the bushes with great views along the loch.
The owner drove round in the evening and collected our fee, which was only £5 each per night.
We used our own facilities so didn't wander down to the toilet block so can't comment on them.
There were only 3 other campers on the site so very peaceful for the night.
The drive north from the site is well worth doing too!

We had the most amazing stay on Mull.
This campsite was just perfect for us.
Very quiet and lots of space with a view straight down the Loch.
We went to Mull to enjoy the wildlife and it did not disappoint.
Facilities are basic but the owners are up front about that so the score below doesn't reflect it.
There is running water and a toilet which is a short walk away with a place also for rubbish.
We would certainly go back.

Very Lovely View of the Bay.
Easily accessible from the ferry.
Very basic amenities that are about 4 mins from campsite but very nice hot water for hands and washing up. Bring your own soap.

This is a proper campsite. Just pitch up and admire the view, it is right next to the shore.
If you want electric, marked pitches, hot and cold showers this is not for you.
There is a toilet and water but it is a short walk away.
If you want peace and quiet, sea views, sea eagles, and freedom for a modest price then this is for you.
Brilliant, one of the best sites we have stayed at.

What a fantastic site! The location at the edge of the loch is beautiful.
Stayed an extra night and had a campfire and enjoyed the views.
Used own facilities but got water from down the road. Spa shop five miles away.
Basic site but perfect for those who want to enjoy nature at its best.
Lucky there were only three vans on the site each night.
The owners were so welcoming and friendly. I will be back😍

What is says on the tin. Beautiful site next to loch. 5 min walk to sink and toilet. Cheap as chips. We adored it.
One warning: for tent pitching much of the site is very stony - it looks like soft grass but one inch down is quite solid.
In windy weather you will need to somehow weigh the tent down.
Worth it though.
