Venn Farm is situated on the borders of Devon and Cornwall in its own tranquil and unspoiled river valley.
All five pitches have level hard standings, their own electric hook-up (All electricity used is replaced with power generated by the sites own solar panel system), drinking water supply, grey water disposal, brick barbecue, picnic bench and free WiFi Internet connection.
In addition to normal Chemical Disposal, we also have a Drive Over Grey Water Disposal Point for Motorhomes.
The site has been created in a quiet corner of the farm away from roads, accessed by a leafy farm track. Trees and shrubs have been planted around the boundaries and between the pitches to give the sense of privacy and seclusion, whilst still allowing stunning views of the surrounding open countryside.
Visitors to the CL are welcome to walk our woodland which is crossed with a network of paths and tracks. Here you will see the fascinating work created by our unique wild Beaver colony. Sit quietly by the pond in the evening and you may catch a glimpse of them at work.
Although the farm is located in peaceful rural surroundings we are only a 10 minute drive from the A30, the backbone of the West Country.
There is good TV reception and most mobile phone networks have a strong signal.
We welcome Dogs on the site; please do advise us at the time of booking.
Venn Farm CL is open from 1st March until 31st October to Adult Caravan Club members. To see our up to date availability calendar please visit our website
Pitches are £22.00 per night. No extra charges.
Nearby Attractions
We are within easy reach of the North and South Coasts of Devon and Cornwall and are ideally placed for visiting Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moor.
The Cornish villages of Tintagel and Boscastle are within 30 minutes drive as is the popular seaside town of Bude and the Devon market town of Tavistock. The larger towns of Plymouth, Barnstaple and Exeter are all within an hours drive.
From Launceston take A388 towards Holsworthy. After about 4 miles you enter the village of St Giles on the Heath Turn right at the phone box by the thatched cottages. Stay on this road for exactly 1½ miles and you will see the entrance to Venn Farm on your right. Go down the lane for 200 metres and the CL entrance is on the left.
An Alternative Route avoiding Launceston Town. Leave A30 at Broadwoodwidger/Roadford Lake. Follow signs to Roadford Lake passing over the dam. Stay on this road for 3 miles until you come to a T- Junction by the old school and turn left. After 2 miles you will see a post box on your right and the road narrows. Venn Farm is the next turning on the left in about 100 yards.
