We are a friendly, quiet, peaceful family run park within the Snowdonia National Park - situated 100yds from Bala Lake on the North Shore. An excellent base for the Lake's activities.
Sensitively landscaped to accommodate a combination of Touring and Tent pitches. If you fancy the Glamping experience we also have 6 luxurious Glamping Units for hire - 3 Safari tents, and 3 Shepherd's Huts which each come with a hot tub!
We cater for small families, couples/singles. Groups by prior arrangement only. The site is not suitable for large groups and people of a loud disposition.
Dogs are welcome, they must however be kept on a lead or secured whilst on the park itself, though there are plenty of great dog walks just around the corner.
There is a shop/reception area. Calor gas is available for purchase.

Bala's excellent outdoor culture attracts many worldwide visitors who come to experience sailing, canoeing,whitewater rafting, windsurfing, climbing, walking, cycling, mountain biking, fishing, birdwatching, small gauge railway, 4x4 off road experience, and not forgetting to mention the beautiful scenary, the stunning nearby coastlines and castles. We are central to get to Snowdon and many other activities , Zip World, Bounce Below and much more.
Pen y Bont is well signposted on the Brown Tourist Information signs. Approaching Bala on the A494 - Take the B4391 signposted Llangynog. When you reach the head of the Lake we are 100yrds on the right. We are easy to find so you shouldn't get too lost. Good Luck!
