We invite you to stay at our Tranquil Touring Park Exclusively for Grown Ups (18yrs+). Overbrook is situated on the site of the old railway station on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Thornton le Dale in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
The village has a small green with an ancient market cross and stocks. Thornton Beck is a small stream which runs through the village and under the railway property. We have kingfishers, herons, and many ducks in the Beck.
The village centre is a level half mile walk where there are three public houses which serve food, a bistro, fish and chip shop, butcher, two bakers, several tea rooms and gift shops and excellent bus services that can take you as far as York, Whitby or Scarborough as well as the local area and Moors
Our park has a mix of touring & seasonal pitches with trees, mature shrubs & flower beds throughout, set within a natural landscape.
All touring pitches are hard standing with a 16amp electric hook up(metered)and we can offer you either a regular pitch, which has space for an awning should you choose to put one up, or a non awning pitch. All our pitches vary in length & when booking we shall require the total shipping length of your caravan or motorhome, this includes A frame, bike racks or boxes so as to accommodate you appropriately.
