Nestled on the site of the old railway station, Overbrook Touring Park, exclusively for grown ups, offers a peaceful retreat on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Thornton-le-Dale, right in the heart of the stunning North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
A leisurely half-mile walk takes you into the village, where you`ll find a charming green with an ancient market cross and stocks. Thornton Beck, a gentle stream running through the village, is home to kingfishers, herons, and friendly ducks, adding to the area`s natural beauty.
The village boasts welcoming pubs serving delicious food, alongside a bistro, a traditional fish and chip shop, a butcher, two bakers, and several delightful tea rooms and gift shops. Excellent bus services connect you to York, Whitby, Scarborough, and the surrounding moors, making Overbrook the perfect base for exploring the region.

Coming from the South and West From the A64 take the Malton/Pickering turn off onto the A169 towards Pickering. After 3 miles turn right at the signpost for Thornton Dale and High Marishes. The Park is 3½ miles down this road on the right as you enter the village of Thornton-le-Dale.
Coming from the North and East From the A170 Pickering to Scarborough road. At the cross roads in the center of Thornton Dale turn right down Maltongate. This road is also sign posted to Malton. Continue on this road keeping the stream on your left. Please be aware that the use of Sutton Bank is prohibited when towing.
