Welcome to Thurlmoor Farm Camping & Caravan Site. Thurlmoor Farm is ideally situated for those who want to get away from it all, and yet it is ideally placed for easy access to all number of attractions, all within easy grasp if required.
Fresh Water
Separate fresh water is always available on site, at all times..
Chemical Waste
Chemical Loo waste disposal on site.
Electric Hook up
Hook up points are available spread across the site.
General Waste/Rec
General & Recycling waste bins are provided.
Grass Pitches
The 2 acre site is accessed through a large gate, and has 8 electric hook up pitches, and room for non electric visitors too, all of which are spacious Pitches. (CHILDREN, DOGS & MOTORCYCLES ARE ALLOWED.)
Holmfirth, Penistone, Langsett, Strines and the Peak District all literally on the door step and a bus stop at the entrance gate makes this all the more accessible without the car. BONUS!!
If you are a camping or caravanning lover, Thurlmoor Farm, Dunford Bridge, Holmfirth, Sheffield can provide you with a camping experience of the great outdoors with Horse Riding, Sailing, Walking, Hiking, Cycling & Rock Climbing all in close vicinity and in most cases, on the door step.
The Market towns of Holmfirth & Penistone have a lot to offer during the day and even the night should you want to have a quite meal in a restaurant or step it up at The Picturedrome (Holmfirth) with a full-on live band.
Ride your bike for 5mins or take a short foot Path to access the great TRANS PENNINE TRAIL Suitable for Running, Walking, Horse Riding and Cycling again for all ages and fitness, brilliant for children with distance set by yourself as the trail goes for miles.
To make a point, Thurlmoor has all corners covered for all tastes, ages and fitness levels.

Owner Directions
FROM THE SOUTH.
Exit the M1 at junction 35A onto the A616 "Manchester"
Stay on the A616 for approx. 11.5mls.
Then turn left onto the B6106 "Holmfirth".
After 1 mile on the right-hand bend, turn left turn into Brook Hill Lane "Carlecotes".
Pass all the houses up the hill till the road levels, the Campsite is on your Left (just past the Bus Stop).
FROM THE NORTH.
Exit the M1 at junction 37 onto the A628 "Manchester" for 7mls.
When in Millhouse Green, at the end of the straight stretch, as the road curves to the left, take the right fork (in front of the Blacksmiths Arms) onto the B6106. Follow this road for 1.5 mls to the crossroads.
Go straight across B6106 "Holmfirth" For 1 mile and on the right-hand bend, turn left turn into Brook Hill Lane "Carlecotes".
Pass all the houses up the hill till the road levels, the Campsite is on your Left (just past the Bus Stop).
