Great location for transpennie cycle track, unfortunately no lovely view as in cloud.
The Loft coffee shop in Penistone and The Magic Wood Cafe on the track between Penistone and Dunford Bridge another great stop.

Excellent certified location. Wonderful views.
Would highly recommend.
It’s basic but such gorgeous views - mesmerising.
It’s a bit remote but the owner is so friendly and very obliging -
Definitely a get away from the rat race location.

Lovely couple who keep their site spot on! great views and great for exploring south Yorkshire.
Holmforth and Pennington are nice places to visit as well as the local pub with fantastic food (and Guinness!)
Gary and his wife (The Diggler lol) are so helpful!

Peaceful with lovely views. Domestic and Wild animals around.
Neat grass pitches with electric.
Owners were very pleasant and obliging.
Easy access on to and off the site.
Would recommend to anyone, with a Caravan or Motorhome with it's own loo /shower.
Would positively go again.

Absolutely loved this site, so much that we booked to return the day we came home!
Great communication from Gary from initial enquiry to meeting us on arrival and checking we were ok when we got home (partner became poorly and had to leave early)
Amazing views from the site, peace and tranquillity, EHU, elsan point, bins and water. Just what we require on a trip away.
Glad it’s not too far from home as it’s probably going to be a little gem that we return to when we want to escape home.
Thanks Gary and Millie

This is the most stunning location overlooking the valley and the moors to the south, a positively idyllic setting with the lovely birds and the sheep and the big skies.
Gary and Mille were very considerate and welcoming, popping over when I arrived to make sure we were settled in OK.
I travelled with my collie and there are lots of lovely walks from the site, obviously need to be mindful around the sheep, but the Transpennine way is not far away where he could bounce about off his lead safely.
No loos or showers so go equipped. EHU so no problems and the water/waste arrangements were robust and clean.
Lots of space too.

Just back from Thurlmoor farm the owners Gary and Millie were very helpful.
The site has Grass pitches and good facilities and the views are amazing.
We stayed there so we could cycle part of the Trans Pennine trail which we did the road to the trail is quite steep but the trail is reasonably flat we cycled down to the Thurgoland tunnel which is worth going to.
We will definitely be going back.

Great spot for views and touring around the area, only 1. 5miles from Dunford Bridge to Penistone cycle path, a lovely cycle path of 14 miles return.
The view is panoramic right across the moors and in sunny weather beautiful.
No facilities only the necessary for emptying waste and toilet plus water, all in excellent order.
