A traditional working Cornish family farm set in beautiful countryside, a few hundred yards from the sea. 60 pitches in six small landscaped paddocks some enjoying spectacular coastal views, while others are surrounded by trees, offering shelter for those who prefer it.
Immaculate showers and toilets, play area and dog walk.
10 minutes walk from Chapel Porth beach with its spectacular unspoiled sandy cove offering excellent bathing and surfing, caves to explore and delightful shallow rock pools for little children to play in
We are situated in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Heritage Coast and the South West Coastal footpath passes our door affording access to some of the finest cliff and coastal scenery in Cornwall and the stunning and historic remains of Wheal Coates tin mine.
A haven for walkers,cyclists, conservationists, nature lovers,photographers, bird watchers and anyone who just wants to get away for a peaceful, relaxing holiday in peaceful, relaxing countryside.
The 60 individually numbered pitches are set out in six small landscaped paddocks enjoying spectacular sea and coastal views while others are surrounded by trees, offering shelter for those who prefer it.
SHOWERS & TOILETS -
Immaculate and spacious washrooms, showers and toilets, paneled and tiled throughout with constant free hot water to all sinks and showers. Baby baths, hair dryers,shaving sockets and baby changing facilities.
PRIVATE WASHING ROOMS -
4 Separate private washing rooms each with washbasin and toilet.
3 FAMILY SHOWER ROOMS -
Family rooms with a shower, toilet, washbasin and baby changing facility.
LAUNDRY FACILITIES -
Including washing machines, tumble dryer, spinner,and iron. Deep sinks with free hot water for clothes and dish washing.
CHILDREN`S PLAY AREA -
With swings, climbing frames, sandpit and Beacon Monster!
DOGS EXERCISE FIELD-
1 1/2 acres for your dog to romp in safely.
We have a fish and chip van calling on site twice each week, a wood fired pizza van and a breakfast cabin selling fresh coffee, tea, hot chocolate and delicious cakes and pasties made fresh daily. There is also an onsite cake stall.
A short distance away (Approx 600 meters) is a roadside stall selling home made fudge and another one selling bacon and sausages for the barbecue.
Nearby Attractions
St Agnes is an ideal center for touring Cornwall with the beautiful Cathedral City of Truro, our main shopping center, just 10 miles away, and the Eden project, Maritime Museum and the Tate Gallery within easy reach. Nowhere in Cornwall is less than an hours drive from St.Agnes.
At Beacon Cottage Farm you are only 10 minutes walk from Chapel Porth beach with its spectacular unspoiled sandy cove offering excellent bathing and surfing, caves to explore and delightful shallow rock pools for little children to play in.
St.Agnes is a lovely traditional Cornish village with a butcher,2 bakers, 2 fruit and vegetable shops and 2 grocery shops. There are several craft shops selling a magnificent collection of art and crafts, jewelry and gifts to take home.
There are also restaurants, cafes,pubs and takeaways providing quality, local food and drinks.
