Description
Pitches: 30
Opening Dates next year: 01/03/2025 to 31/10/2025
We look forward to welcoming you to Ellerburn campsite, where time stands still. Please ensure you have booked to stay with us before your arrival as we quickly become fully booked and we don't like to disappoint and turn people away
Hidden in a beautiful valley full of wildlife and walks our campsite offers you the chance to unwind and relax with nature. With limited mobile service and no Wi-Fi you can unplug from the outside world and hideaway. With no electric hook up, it really is a place where time stands still. Take a gentle stroll alongside the babbling beck into Thornton dale for an ice cream or bring your walking boots and explore Dalby Forest at your leisure. At night our dark skies are perfect for those who like to star gaze and relax in peace.
We welcome children, dogs, bikers, walkers and those that just want to enjoy the countryside. If you want to drink all day and party all night then this site is not for you, we do not accept groups or parties. We have a low noise rule from 10pm so all our guests and wildlife can enjoy a relaxing and peaceful stay
For those who don't do camping we have a self-contained static caravan available for hire for up to 2 people
Our campsite is located on our working farm, dogs are welcome on site but must be kept on short leads to keep our livestock safe.
We can offer stables and grazing for those who own a horse and would love to enjoy our off road countryside bridlepaths and local beaches
Keep an eye out for the shooting stars in our star filled dark skies. It is truly magical on a clear night!
When the sun shines on a Saturday evening in spring/summer, we have Jody 'The Yorkshire Lass' join us to sell her stone baked pizzas and her selection of fresh homemade cheesecakes. They are delicious!
