Description
Pitches: 65+32 Statics
Opening Dates next year: 01/04/2025 to 31/10/2025
Dolgamedd is level, sheltered and nestled beside a river where campfires are allowed. Run by the Evans family, who farm nearby. We like it quiet here so we have no bar, no shop, we just sell logs for the campfires/bbqs.
On a separate field there are privately owned green Static Caravans, these have their own facilities, with piped gas. We open on March 1st for them, one empty pitch at the moment, we deal with either Salop Leisure or Lloyds caravans , both with a large range of Static Caravans to choose from.
We have two fields of long stay tourers, each hard standing pitch has full services. Please check with us for next years rent. Each pitch is for one caravan or one motorhome with awning, an extra campervan/tent is not included and any occupants would be liable to pay camping fees on the going rate.
Swimming and Salmon fishing on site in the river Wnion, which is also popular with canoeists (when in flood).
4 STAR toilet block with launderette and campers kitchen.
Tarmac roads, bikes allowed but the following not allowed: go-karts, roller skating, quad bikes or micro scooters.
Excellent base for sea and mountains and for mountain biking at Coed y Brenin nearby.

Adults- Low season £13.50. High season £14.00
Children escorted with adult : 6yrs-17yrs - £6.00-£7.00
Children 5 yrs and under -£4.00p-£5.00p
Babies under 1yr -free.
Dogs - £2.00 each (max 2 dogs per pitch/family)
Use of 10amp Hook-up - £7.00 daily
Duke of E Groups - £8 each

Nearby Attractions
Central for Miniature Railways, Castles, Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake), beaches, mountains and mountain biking. Cader Idris mountain very close, with the Aran and Cnicht only 30 mins away. The famous Coed y Brenin mountain biking centre is 10 mins by car. Barmouth & Fairbourne beaches & Bala lake are 15-20 mins away.

Continue over the bridge, The Caravan Park is immediately on the left. Please ignore Sat. Nav, which will often take you to the Farmhouse down a different lane where turning space is limited.
