Situated on the west side of the beautiful Isle of Barra, with with panoramic views of the Atlantic and breathtaking sunsets, family-run Wavecrest is an ideal location to pitch or park whilst you explore the island and what it has to offer. We also have a shepherds hut for hire which sleeps up to four people.
Barra is the most southerly of the inhabited islands in the Outer Hebrides.
Long famed for its beauty - boasting beaches, hills, machair and moor all in a small island - Barra is a special place to visit

Kisimul Castle at Castlebay is perched atop the rocky Bagh a Chaisteil islet, the historic seat of Chief of the Clan MacNeil, this is the last remaining complete castle in the Outer Hebrides and is open to the public

Owner Directions
From Castlebay ferry port take the left hand turn at top of link span, continue down for about 3miles, passing Isle of Barra Hotel and Borve Campsite, we are next of your left, WAVECREST CAMPSITE.
FROM Eriskay at road end take left hand turn,then at Northbay Junction take a right, continue for 5 1/2 miles past Borve (Borgh) we are next on right past road end.
