Island Lodge is a family owned, AA five pennant, pet friendly touring site, open all year and welcomes couples and families.
The two acre grassland site is surrounded by natural Devon hedgerows and is situated on a section of a privately owned 18 acre unique `dry island`. The `island` is in a peaceful rural location, one mile north of Kingsbridge, in the South Devon National Landscape.
The touring site has easy access, and the well maintained grounds offer pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes with hard standing (gravel) serviced pitches with mains water point and grey waste drainage.
All pitches are offered with free 16amp electric hook up.
The purpose built, on site amenities are modern and well cared for. Separate facilities are available for ladies and gents, and all the showers have free hot water.
The site also offers family washrooms, and disabled facilities are available on request.
Amenities are also provided for dishwashing, again with free hot water and freezer for ice packs.
There are modern coin operated laundry facilities.
For families, the site has a small safe play area with swings and basketball hoops. There is also space in this area for soft ball games.
For pet owners, dogs and other small pets are very welcome on site. Adjacent to the site is a small dog exercise area, on site there is also a hot water `doggie` shower. It is requested that your dog is tethered at all times on site, and please be a responsible dog owner. There is also a quiet country lane adjacent to the site which is ideal for dog walking.

Owner Directions
The main route to the South West is on the A38. On the A38, heading south take the A384 for Totnes. From Totnes, take the A381, sign posted to Kingsbridge.
You will travel on this main road for approximately 12 miles.
At the roundabout, Stumpy Post Cross turn right, then after 300 metres turn left into the lane, this turn is sign posted for Island Lodge.
The site is located 200 metres on your left hand side.
If using a sat-nav in this area please be careful if you are towing.
