Description
This is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, which accept caravans or motorhomes and usually tents.
Pitches: 5 HS and 10 tents
Opening Dates this season: 24/03/2025 to 01/11/2025
Crossfells Campsite is a small, pretty and quiet campsite, situated less than 3 miles from the historic market town of Penrith, with easy access to the M6, Ullswater Lake, Eden Valley and the Lake District.
We are a Camping and Caravanning Certified Site (CS).
We accept five caravans and/or motorhomes with space for up to 10 tents.
Our camping facilities provide 5 x hard standing with electric hookups and up to an acre in which to pitch your tent.
There is clean water, chemical toilet and grey water disposal.
We ask those of you in tents to provide your own toilet facilities, we hope to be able to provide toilet facilities in the near future so this should be a temporary arrangement.
Nearby Attractions
We are situated under 3 miles from the M6 motorway and the historic market town of Penrith; on the fringe of Cumbria`s Lake District National Park; and less than 6 miles from Ullswater Lake and Steamers.
You will find plenty to occupy yourselves with plenty to see and do, pleasant walks and easy cycling in the Eden Valley, Lake District and the Pennine fells. Those of you looking for even more challenges the Sustrans Coast to Coast (C2C) goes right past our front door.
