Cheston is an immaculately maintained site and has been owed and run by the same family for over 28 years. The park is set in the peaceful Dartmoor National Park, so your family can enjoy a holiday that is not just carefree and relaxing but fun too.
24 pitches, with all facilities, including hardstanding for motorhomes, electric hook-ups, toilets and showers. Tents are also welcome.
On site we have a covered dish washing facility, toilets and shower rooms, electric hook ups.
We regret we do not take dogs, but with the exception Of Assistancce Dogs on site.
We also take motor homes and have hard standing pitches available. If you have any other enquiries please don't hesitate to give us a call us.
We are a family friendly site But only take childeren over the age off 14 years of age. We offer alot of information on local beaches and attractions and we have been to alot of them and we can offer our opinion on which is best to visit.
We have two cats (Cass and Gizmo), A large family of Guinea pigs and 14 chickens. if you are a bird watcher then this is the place for you, we have spotted Buzzards and Red Kites, The Great Spotted Woodpecker and most British birds visit Cheston an a regular basis.
Cheston is unspoiled by light pollution which means it is an ideal location for Star Gazing and if you can stay awake long enough, you will be lucky to see the fox or the badger.
Nearby Attractions
Our nearest beach is Bigbury-On-Sea, and close by is Torquay and Paington. We are surrounded by award winning beeches, such as Thurlestone, Hopecove and Blackpool Sands.
Pennywell Farm is a place of enjoyment, where children and adults, every age can get up close and personal with the animals. The have feedings of piglets and goats.
The South Devon Railway is a railway which has been preserved by a team of members and volunteers. This is a perfect attraction because it also links you to Totnes. Totnes has a wonderful atmosphere. Totnes also hold the largest range of weird and wacky shops, for you to explore.
Plymouth is a city of exploration, so explore the Barbican and the Hoe to find Smeatons Tower and The Aquarium.
The Hoe also has a range of restaurants, including oriental foods.

Owner Directions
From Exeter: After bypassing South Brent exit. Come off at next exit, Wrangaton Cross stay in right hand lane of the slip road at the top of slip road turn right and follow signs.
From Plymouth: Take South Brent/Woodpecker Exit, Stay in right-hand, at junction turn right and go under A38, rejoin A38 and then follow as from Exeter.
Please note: If you are towing a caravan or have a motorhome, advisable to turn off sat-nav after leaving A38 to avoid narrow lanes, follow caravan signs to Cheston.
