Description
This is a Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location, which accepts just five caravans or motorhomes and is for Club Members only. It also has a separate area for tents, non members welcome.

We have recently taken over the The Railway Inn along with the Camp Site located behind the village pub. We are working hard to update facilities both inside the pub and restaurant and on the campsite.
Situated just outside the City of Lincoln and only 10 minutes from the A1
All pitches include electric hook up, coded access gate, toilet facilities and free WiFi.
Despite the railway line running parallel to the site, visitors can enjoy rural walks both around the lake behind the site or at nearby Whisby Natural World. There is also a golf course within walking distance and an outdoor water activities centre.
We are open all year and have easy access. Dogs are very welcome, however only guide dogs are allowed in the pub.
We have recently welcomed back lots of previous customers and receiving great feedback on our improvements.

Great little camp site and pub with great pub food at a reasonable price, some nice little walks close by at the nature reserve , the staff were all very friendly and helpful , would recommend , obviously trains pass by but you get used to it in a short time .

Stopped on campsite behind pub. Enjoyed an evening meal and a sunday lunch at pub. Great service. Really friendly and great campsite too.

Owner Directions
From Lincoln take the A1434 south west towards A46 (Lincoln - Newark). At roundabout junction with A46 take the 2nd exit signposted Thorpe On The Hill. Follow this road through Thorpe On The Hill. The Railway Inn is on the Left just before the level crossing.
