Catgill Farm is a stunning campsite and luxury hot tub glampsite, nestled in the Yorkshire Dales, in a gorgeous setting with jaw dropping views. A peaceful retreat with a stream meandering through the site and breathtaking views.
A short walk from Bolton Abbey, The Devonshire Arms, and scenic river walks, it`s perfectly located for exploring local attractions like Skipton Castle and Billy Bob`s Ice Cream Parlour.
Retaining much of its original charm, it has become a firm favourite and has proved to be a massive hit since opening its doors in 2014. Named as one of Britains top 5 coolest campsites by the Telegraph newspaper its easy to see why; a large camping field with ehu and 5* toilet block.
The farm has lovely laid back feel and you can be sure of a warm welcome from the owners and their super friendly staff who are always happy to go the extra mile.
Tent Camping and Campervans
Our spacious field offers both electric and non-electric pitches for tents and VW campervans, surrounded by natural features like hills, trees, and streams.
Keep warm and toasty around the fire pit (available to hire from reception) whilst the kids spend hours burning off energy in the small stream and woodland that meanders through the camping field. A natural and safe playground, this campsite is perfect for families.
Facilities
Facilities include modern toilets and showers, ensuring a comfortable stay in this relaxing, laid-back setting. Communal fridge/freezers, washup area.
Dedicated dog walking field
Stay connected with Wi-Fi and charging lockers, explore the dog walking field, and meet our friendly alpacas.
We offer a range of activities perfect for children. Your kids will love Connect Four, Giant Jenga, and exploring our charming wooden teepee. Plus, we have a dedicated kids` playing field with a mini football pitch where they can burn off some energy while you relax.
Local Food at Cat`s Kitchen
You`ll love Cat`s Kitchen, our on-site cafe that serves delicious, locally-sourced food and drinks. Start your morning with a freshly brewed coffee, sausage sandwiches, or warm pastries.
In the evening, enjoy our famous stone-baked pizzas, made to perfection.
After a day of exploring the Yorkshire Dales, unwind in our Cat`s Relax area, where you can kick back under the pizza pod and umbrellas. Whether you`re soaking up the sun or sheltering from a light sprinkle, it`s the ideal spot for relaxation.
Alpacas
Don`t forget to meet our friendly family of alpacas! From the babies to the mamas, they`re a highlight for many of our guests. Be sure to say hello to Dorothy, our adorable alpaca who loves greeting campers at the fence!
Glamping
Our luxury glamping pods and bell tents, complete with private hot tubs, offer the perfect mix of outdoor adventure and modern comfort
Location
The Dev pub is a 10 minute walk across the fields and serves good food and local ales.
It doesn`t get much better than this! Forget the car as soon as you arrive, whatever you`re into, there is so much to do right on the doorstep.
Bolton Abbey is a 15 minute gentle walk and has tea rooms, visitor shop and of course the famous 12th century ruins of the priory set next to the river Wharfe with stepping stones and sandy beach.
Hesketh Farm Park is literally on the doorstep offering tractor tours, animal feeding and much more.
Close to the Dalesway footpath, Catgill has much to offer for walkers and cyclists along with many local attractions for families.
There are a number of picturesque towns and villages within easy reach such as Skipton, Ilkley and Grassington, all with a variety of friendly pubs, award winning restaurants, coffee shops and many local seasonal events. Catgill is a perfect location for either an action packed family holiday or a peaceful and relaxing break.
