Welcome to Minnows, an Adult only (over 14 years of age) site. A small and intimate touring park beside The Grand Western Canal, ideal for those who enjoy walking, cycling, canoeing and fishing, or as a convenient centre for touring.
Minnows Touring Park offers 59 all weather pitches set in five and a half landscaped acres alongside the towpath of the Grand Western Canal, and just a short stroll from the village of Sampford Peverell with historic church, 2 pubs, post office, Spar shop, farm shop, tennis courts, golf driving range and 9 hole golf course. The towpath is part of the Sustrans National Cycle Network with safe off road cycling for all the family.
Bicycle hire is available locally and the towpath is also suitable for mobility scooters.
14 of our pitches are fully-serviced with fresh water connections and grey water drainage. A number of our pitches are arranged in a circle; ideal for rally groups - please ring to book.
The modern toilets and showers have full disabled facilities, a launderette, and washing-up and vegetable preparation rooms. We have our own landing stage for canoes and trailed boats and there is a nearby slipway for boat launching. Fishing and boating permits are available from reception.
Please note that there are no EV charging facilities on this park, nor are you allowed to charge from your pitch. This is due to the fact that the park does not have electric capacity.
All pitches have 16 amp electric hook-ups Hard standing for caravans & motor homes Fully-serviced pitches Seasonal & winter caravan storage Modern heated toilet & shower block with constant hot water Separate disabled room Direct gate access onto The Grand Western Canal Undercover washing-up area Laundry facilities Gas available - butane & propane Battery charging & freezer pack service Tourist information centre Ice cream, ice lollies and basic provisions Fishing & boating permits Bus & train services within walking distance Wi-Fi available on all pitches

Experience the rural charm of Mid Devon and the tranquil beauty of the Grand Western Canal, one of Devon`s secret gems. Whether you like fishing, walking, bird watching, cycling or canoeing you will be able to enjoy all of these from Minnows Touring Park, the only touring caravan park alongside the Grand Western Canal in Devon.
Should you choose to venture out with your car, a short drive will find you on Exmoor or in the Blackdown Hills, in the historic city of Exeter and port of Topsham, the market towns of Tiverton and Honiton or National Trust houses and gardens such as Knighthayes Court and Killerton House. Try a peaceful trip on the canal on the Horsedrawn Barge, winner of the 2011 BBC Countryfile photographic competition or visit the working wool museum at Coldharbour Mill with its steam driven looms.
There is so much to do and see from Minnows. Even the beaches of North and South Devon are less than an hour away, and at the end of the day stroll along the towpath to one of the pubs in the village for a meal and local ale.

Owner Directions
From the M5 leave at Junction 27 onto the A361 sign-posted to Tiverton and Barnstaple. After 600 metres leave at the first exit sign-posted Sampford Peverell. Turn right at the roundabout and cross the bridge to the second roundabout. Go straight on and the park entrance is on your left.
From North Devon on the A361 go to the roundabout at Junction 27 of the M5. Go all the way round the roundabout and back up the A361 and follow the directions above.
If coming along the A303, take the A358 and join the M5 at Taunton, Junction 25. We do not recommend the A373 from Honiton to Junction 28 at Cullompton for caravans or large motor vans.
