Description
Pitches: 50
Opening Dates this season: 23/05/2025 to 25/08/2025
This is a pop-up campsite, and it may only be open for limited periods within the opening dates shown.
Harry`s Field is situated in the quiet, beautiful hamlet of Frogham near Fordingbridge in Hampshire`s New Forest. Its very easy to find us, but after a few days relaxing - free from the familiar hum of traffic - you may well struggle to leave.
Harry`s Field is a small campsite run by campers for campers. We`ve created a tranquil retreat in one of the most serene corners of the New Forest with everything we`d expect to see on our perfect pitch.
We are right next door to the lovely Foresters Arms and you can walk or cycle for miles from our field across open forest. We have toilets and hot showers, and welcome families and couples but I am sorry to say we do not allow large groups or Hen and Stag dos.
Good dogs are allowed and we know that their good owners will clean up after them. We have fire baskets for open fires that can be hired and have a small shop selling the essentials.
We accept campervans and motorhomes. We also have luxury bell tents available which are uniquely finished with vintage bohemian furniture and comes complete with absolutely everything you will need to enjoy your stay, including a fully equipped cooking area and a fire pit to sit round as you star gaze late into the evening…
Nearby Attractions
Frogham is a quiet hamlet in the heart of Hampshire`s New Forest. Surrounded by open forest, curious wildlife and a smattering of equally tranquil villages, Frogham is the ideal place to turn off the email alerts and uncork the red - in that order.
Our neighbours The Foresters Arms, a quintessential fine dining country pub with good food and selection of real ales, is just a 30-second wobbly walk from the campsite.
Although there is plenty of free entertainment; spotting world-famous New Forest ponies, catching minnows, New Forest walks in the woods and tree climbing (of course), bigger kids will be pleased to know that the pub is right next door!
Head half a mile up a quiet country lane adjacent to the campsite and you`ll reach the Hyde Out Cafe, home to perfect cream teas and cracking cakes.
Fordingbridge is a short 5 min drive away with a play park and where the children can play in the splash pool or fish for minnows in the River Avon. It`s a lovely sunny spot on the banks of the Avon and many hours can be spent here. Dogs are allowed on the other side of the park but not in the play area.
For the more active, there is the highly recommended New Forest Water Park nr Fordingbridge, which is very popular with all ages. It is 1.5 miles from the campsite.
The fantastic Moors Valley Country Park about 20 mins drive away. It is a huge wooden play trail, with a little steam train, big adventure playground, and a tree top walk. Dogs are allowed.
