Tent Pitches from £22 per night, including Electric Hook Up (EHU) and FREE Wi-Fi. Minimum stay of 2 nights. Well behaved dogs are also welcome (£2 per night per dog). We rent out Fire Pits and these are restricted to 3 maximum at anyone time and are pre-bookable on a first come served basis.

15 Pitches, 5 with hard standing and 10 spacious grass pitches, all have Electric hook ups, with the exception of 2 grass pitches. We offer 4 supersize grass pitches for those with larger tents, or those who just prefer even more space. Facilities include ; kids small play area, outdoor seating area, pot wash, WiFi (free), TV room/lounge (including FREE use of fridge/freezer), re-charging points, hairdryers and modern showers, washroom and toilets which are accommodated in the adjacent barn. Our drinking water is natural filtered Spring water from our private supply. So mo need to buy water just fill your bottles.

Please note showers are £1 for 10 minutes piping hot water, the showers are very spacious and can fit 2 adults & 2 kids at one time.

Camp right next to our private woodland and enjoy some amazing wildlife with squirrels, stoats, deer and if you`re a night owl you may be lucky enough to see `Barney` our beautiful barn owl. You will also be rewarded with some amazing views from the campsite, however, venture a little further afield and stumble across the stunning landscape of either coastline or moorland.

We`re set right in the heart of the National Park, with bridleways, cycleways and footpaths right on our own doorstep. Boggle Hole beach is only 2.2 miles away where you can join the Cleveland way heading either to Robin Hoods Bay or Ravenscar. Or simply enjoy the beach with its rock pools when the tide goes out!

Robin hoods Bay is 3.4 miles away and is home to sandy and family friendly beaches, fossils and the dinosaur coast. With great places to eat, drink and some quirky shops.
Whitby is just over 8 miles away with its abundance of history, attractions and connections to Dracula.

The nearest Bus Stop is at the top of our lane, approx 10 mins walk (uphill). Frequent buses to either Whitby and villages on route or Scarborough and villages on route.

Book now to avoid disappointment [booking and advance payment essential] and we look forward to meeting you and sharing, what we call our little gem in the heart of North Yorkshire! You must be a CCC member as we are an exclusive campsite for CCC members only [to join is only £50 per year and gives you access to thousands of smaller certified sites like us across the UK].

Please note that the Satellite map is a very old photo, and it doesn`t look at all like this. We landscaped all the area, and the photos show you how the site looks [we opened in 2015].

Owner Directions

Please DO NOT use our postcode for Sat Nav as it sends you the wrong way. Please use Postcode YO22 4QH, but stay on the A171. If travelling towards Scarborough, pass the `Jet` petrol station & approx 600 metres ahead you will see a lane entrance (the first one) on your left hand side. It`s very near the brow of the hill.

If travelling towards Whitby, then you will pass the Falcon Inn on the A171 on your right hand side, keep going for approx 2.5 miles and you will see our lane entrance on the right hand side. There is a sign at the lane entrance.

Coming down the lane, take it slowly it`s a bit bumpy in places, there as several passing places so please be gracious, the campsite is on the left hand side approx 0.75 of a mile.
