Gosfield Lake Resort is a private family run leisure park, set in the heart of rural Essex, close to Constable Country and right on the Essex Way. The 36 acre lake and surrounding countryside combine to create a natural beauty spot, where clear summer evenings give way to spectacular sunsets.
Purpose built toilet block and showers, washing up facilities and laundry. Gents toilets and showers, Ladies toilets (all with seats )and showers. Brand new family showers/toilet rooms. Hot water in washing up area.
Our lakeside tent field is picturesque but basic. We like to call it primitive camping. There is no electricity available and a 5 minute walk to the amenities. More suited to the experienced camper. But if your idea of a camping break is watching the sunset over the lake, the wild life returning to their habitat (once the water-skiing has finished) and enjoying a glass of your favourite tipple in peaceful surroundings, then this is for you.
The caravan field is beside the local church, which offers a spectacular back-drop; all pitches have electrical hook-ups. Although this area does not offer lake views the view across the field to Gosfield hall are equally impressive. This area is close to the amenities.

Nearby Attractions
Activities onsite are all subject to availability. The Water-ski club have sole use of the water. Therefore they offer Water-ski Lessons and some inflatable ride, but NOT Free Swimming, Kayaking or Sups are NOT ALLOWED FOR SAFTEY REASONS. Activities need to bepre-booked via activities@gosfieldlake.co.uk
We are close to Halstead and Braintree Town, 1 hour by train into London and the Olympic Village, which is a direct link.
Local attractions include, Hedingham Castle, Colne Valley Rail Way.
