Situated in the heart of the Forest of Bowland an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Bowland Escapes & Bowland Wild Boar Park are a short distance from the picturesque village of Chipping. Surrounded by fells and woodland and sat on the banks of the river Hodder, it is a delightful place to enjoy the countryside and local wildlife, have fun in the fresh air and take time out from the hustle and bustle whilst having lots of different activities for the kids to do.

Bring your own tent to Bowland Escapes and enjoy a night under canvas.

Prices from £12 per person per night.

Max 4 adults in any party of 6 guests.

Shower and toilet facilities available in our camping amenity unit.

We are pet friendly so you may bring your four legged friend - max 2 dogs per tent, £5 per dog per night.

Sorry but we do NOT offer electric hook up points.

Sorry but we do NOT offer a chemical waste disposal point for chemical toilets.

Our Camping pods are set in a picturesque setting within easy walking distance to the main Park and a great way to experience the outdoors without the need for a tent. Please bring all your camping equipment, towels and bedding.

Prices are from £65 per night. (excluding park entry) & Bank Holiday rates are £75 per night.

Stay in one of our camping pods and not only enjoy the Wild Boar Park but also use it as a base for exploring the Forest of Bowland.

Our Camping Pods have the following facilities.

Pods sleep up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children
Internal floor dimensions 8 ft 10 inches x 7 ft 6 inches
Well insulated - cool in the summer and warm in the winter
Back window
Double glazed single main entrance door with curtain
Double electric socket & Light
2 onsite shower/toilet blocks
Hot water and dish washing station
Fire / Barbecue pits
Picnic area & Playground

We also have Shepherds Huts, Safari tents and an Iron Age Roundhouse for overnights stays AND luxury self catered lodges - some with hot tubs.

The animal park will be open weekends and school holidays only and although we accept tent and pods stays during the midweek days, no access to the animal park will be permitted as it is closed.
