Reddacleave is a beautiful Dartmoor Farm in South Devon, set in 80 acres of SPACE.
We are a rural campsite for lovers of Clean Air, Wild Swimming, Starry Skies, Peaceful Surroundings, Wildlife and Breathtaking Scenery.
family run Campsite with EHU Pitches and Wild Camping Pitches, we specialise in group bookings, our Large Secluded pitches are unique and all come with their own toilets.
The site backs straight onto Dartmoor, we have a large fresh water lake ideal for Wild Swimming, paddle boarding etc
Our EHU pitches back onto our River and Woodland area, ideal for a fresh water dip.
Facilities include: Compost Toilets, off grid hot shower, Lake and River, Outdoor Fire Pits so you can enjoy a quiet and atmospheric evening around an open fire toasting marshmallows.
Dogs Go Free!
We sell Free Range Eggs, Jam and Chutney.
Nearby Attractions
Our nearest Tourist Attraction is "The Avon Dam" which is approx 30min walk from site.
Eight mins drive away is the Village of Buckfastleigh which has a heated outdoor swimming pool, "Otter and Butterfly Centre" and South Devon Railway where you can catch the Steam train to the old Medieval market town of Totnes.
Paignton is a Fifteen minute drive from Totnes and has popular attractions including Paignton Zoo, Dartmouth Steam Railway and the Waterpark Splashdown. There is also a great park on the sea front for young children and a traditional pier to stroll down and lovely beach.
Torquay is well worth a visit, shopping centre and harbour, but also Living Coasts where you can walk amongst the penguins and experience close encounters with octopus, sting rays and much more.
Our Nearest Beach is Mothercombe Beach which is Dog Friendly and great for Kayaking. (20 mins away)
