Set in 10 acres of farmland on the north-west side of the Isle of Anglesey, Cymunod has lovely peaceful surroundings. It is a family run, friendly camping site where you can wake up to spectacular rural views and glimpses of the Snowdonia peaks. It`s also a great base for active families looking to get out onto the beach as soon as possible- sandy Rhosneigr and Trearddur Bay beaches are both within 10 minutes` drive and Llanddwyn beach only 20 minutes away. For dogs, there is an enclosed area on site where they can exercise and the use of a dog bath. The site sits beside a cycle route, and there are fantastic coastal walks all around the island with breath taking sea views and fresh air. The site may be in a quiet spot but is easily accessible from the A55, which runs over the Britannia Bridge (15 minutes) from mainland Wales. There are a host of pubs and restaurants in the area and plenty more scattered across the island. On site the facilities include separate toilets/shower rooms and also hires out fire pits and sells logs. Amenities include: * car parking by the pitch * dog exercising area and dog bath * free wifi (Starlink) * Picnic tables * Kitchen with washing up facilites, washing machine, fridge, freezer, etc * family friendly * motorcycle friendly * chemical disposal available

Nearby Attractions
The local beaches have fantastic amenities for watersports, as well as the usual swimming and sandcastle-building.At Rhosneigr beach you can join windsurfers and kitesurfers shooting across the waves on windy days - gear hire and lessons are available too. Thrilling RIB rides are available from Menai Bridge that can take you on high-speed adventures along the south coast of the island.
Children can feed lambs at Foel Farm Park (30 minutes) or take mini-train rides at Gipsy Wood Park (35 minutes, just over the bridge), and with scary jellyfish at Anglesey Sea Zoo (30 minutes) and see butterflies at Pili Palas Nature world (20 minutes).
For adults, you can visit the National Trust-owned Plas Newydd House and Gardens (20 minutes), or head to Beaumaris Castle (30 minutes) for tours of unfinished medieval ramparts and jail.

Owner Directions
Take Junction 4 from the A55, go over the flyover and at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit signposted Bryngwran. Take the first right turning (which is in about half a mile), go under the fly over and once around the corner we are immediately on the left. The entrance is signposted.
