Set within 27 acres of historic parkland at Carlton Park, we offer the beauty of traditional rolling Suffolk countryside as well as a wide range of amenities only half a mile away in the market town of Saxmundham.
Over 7 acres are set aside for camping and caravans with 75 pitches widely spaced in the pleasant parkland setting. We welcome tents as well as touring caravans and campervans/motorhomes.
The centre of Saxmundham is just half a mile away along well lit streets and has a good range of shops.
The Saxmundham Sports & Recreational Club is a non-profit making charity which owns and maintains 27 acres of historic parkland known as Carlton Park. The majority of our funds are raised from the caravan and camping site which is licensed from April to the end of October each year.
Our sporting facilities include a bowls green, cricket and football pitches, tennis courts and an adventure playground for young children.

In the centre of East Suffolk, mid-way between Ipswich and Lowestoft, we are just a few miles inland from the Suffolk Heritage Coast and the seaside towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold.
