This quiet family run park is situated in a lovely natural setting on the banks of the River Swale, in the heart of the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside on two miles from Richmond - the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales.
Your can explore the quaint market towns, historic houses and abbeys, waterfalls, museums, scenic country walks and theme parks or you can simply relax on the banks of the river Swale or even try your hand at fishing.
A level field alongside the river Swale. The grounds are extensively landscaped with over 150 varieties of shrubs and trees, together with a wide range of wild flowers, thus attracting a galaxy of birds and small wildlife to the vicinity
Over 100 seasonal pitches and 27 fully serviced seasonal pitches. Touring and camping pitches available. For seasonal pitch availability please enquire at reception.
None of our pitches for tents have electric hook-up availability.
Food takeaway onsite - please see site board for opening times and menu.
All customers have the use of the on-site toilets, laundry, showers, games room and washing areas.
The River Swale runs by the park and offers excellent fishing for trout, dace, barble, grayling and chub.
In our on site take away you will be able to collect pizzas, burgers, and of course chips without the need to drive off site. We also have an off license in our site shop.
Our shower blocks are heated and offer facilities for the disabled, and are free to use.
We have an on site telephone box, and post box. A secure site with barriers operated by access cards.
We also have on site security cameras.
Deep sinks with free hot water for washing up.
Calor and camping gas sales. Although we do not rent out static caravans we do have accommodation.
Nearby Attractions
More castles than we have space to mention within easy driving distance. We are close to Heartbeat country, and of course the area of All creatures great and small. You can take the children to many attractions such as Beech End, Eden Camp, Flamingo Land, Light Water Valley. Shopping at the Metro Centre or Leeds are also an easy drive away.
