Waldegraves Holiday Park is perfect for self catering holidays in Essex. Situated in the heart of Mersea's unspoilt countryside looking directly across the picturesque estuary of the River Blackwater. This and the town's historic, fishing and boating seafront, combine to make Waldegraves one of the best caravan, camping and self catering holiday leisure parks of the East Coast.
Waldegraves has a large touring park with pitches for tents, caravans & motor homes. There is a choice of electric, non-electric or hard standing pitches. The park can accommodate large groups on request.
Visits to Waldegraves can be relaxing or fun packed with plenty to keep everyone occupied. Family entertainment is available every day throughout the school holidays with activities both during the day and in the evening.
There is an outdoor heated swimming pool open May- September which is included in the price of the stay. Golfing facilities include 10 bay undercover golf driving range, 18 hole grass pitch & putt, 9 hole Crazy golf and FootGolf course. There are 4 well stocked coarse fishing lakes on site with well-maintained swims.

Waldegraves is situated on Mersea Island, North Essex. The village itself is a popular visitor attraction with the historic harbour and local museum. The nearby town of Colchester is just 10 milers away. Colchester is famous for being the oldest recorded town in Britan and, whilst visiting the town centre for shopping, you can visit the Norman castle and adjoining park. Also in the town centre are Colchester Natural History Museum, Hollytrees Museum and Tymperleys clock museum. Colchester Zoo is just 20 minutes drive from the park and is one of the region's most popular attractions. Also close by are the Anglian Railway Museum, Easton Farm Park and Headingham Castle.
Exit the A12 at Junction 26. From the first roundabout, follow signs to Mersea (B1025). Cross the Strood channel onto Mersea Island and follow the left turning towards East Mersea. Take the second turning on the right into Chapman's Lane and follow the tourist signs to Waldegraves.
