A very well tended Adults-Only park in delightful countryside on the edge of Crickhowell. The adjacent riverside park is an excellent facility for all. Crickhowell has numerous specialists shops including a first-class delicatessen. Within a few minutes walk from the park are several friendly pubs with good restaurants.
Riverside Caravan Park is a quiet site on the banks of the River Usk between the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Black Mountains, surrounded by spectacular scenery in the pretty Welsh market town of Crickhowell.
The site is within easy reach of several pretty Welsh towns, monuments and historical sites such as the Blaenavon World Heritage Centre, and lots of food and music festivals take place in the area during the summer months.
There are many walks around Crickhowell and the surrounding countryside, ranging from a circular town walk which takes about 45mins. to other walks to suit all ages and the experienced, such as along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal.
Riverside Caravan Park's modern amenities include a washroom block with toilets and hot showers, as well as a laundry room and a washing-up area. Barbecues are allowed.
There are loads of outdoor activities available in the local area such as hiking, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, hang gliding, paragliding, climbing, watersports and river fishing, and you can easily reach Cardiff and Abergavenny for day trips away from the site.
