Description
This is an adults only site
Pitches: 81
Opening Dates next year: 01/03/2025 to 31/10/2025
A caravan, camping & glamping site exclusively for adults (18+) in the Dartmoor National Park, Devon A tranquil & secluded site that caters for caravans, motorhomes, tents under 8.5m as well as camping pods & offers peace and quiet AA 5 Pennant Platinum graded & members of Tranquil Parks
Access is quick & easy from the A382 only 1.5 miles from the A30, the earliest arrival time is 1pm We are ideal for those wishing to go caravanning & camping in Dartmoor and Devon and an ideal base for discovering Cornwall & the South West The cathedral city of Exeter is only 18 miles away
We are surrounded by farm & woodland Dogs & pets are very welcome and we have a large (fenced!) dog exercise field and a dog shower for cleaning off muddy paws. We have a stunning Dark Sky site so when the clouds are not around the views of the stars are fantastic To keep this we do not have lighting around the site so please bring a torch.
Our fully refurbished toilet and shower blocks are heated in the cooler months as are the immaculate disabled facilities.
We are Calor agents & also have a small shop selling essentials including wine, beer and cider. Laundry facilities are also available.
As we are out in the countryside you do need a directional aerial for your TV, the normal aerial with the pole you push up that is fitted to most modern caravans is OK.
Peter and Fiona own and run the site and would welcome the opportunity to be your hosts.
