Nestled in the scenic embrace of Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), our top rated & award winning Llys Derwen Caravan & Campsite Snowdon emerges as a prime choice for many travellers, who extol its idyllic location for exploring the great outdoors.
Our campsite receives accolades for the dedication to service, ensuring guests are welcomed to a clean, tidy environment with immaculate facilities.
A small family run 4 Star graded site by Visit Wales and 4 Pennants from the AA.
We have a selection of pitches available with electricity and ample water points. Our campsite has beautiful driveways and neat grassed marked pitches that allows ease of movement.
Electric Hook-up for every pitch as well as ample water points around the site.
Modern utility block recently refurbished with excellent facilities including free showers and hairdryer.
Separate Dishwashing Room with a Freezer for Ice Packs etc.
We have a Launderette with Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer. A ironing table is also available.
We have a purpose built Disabled Toilet and Wet Room Shower.
Two Static caravans beautifully equipped for hire. The Conwy is pet friendly with an enclosed verandah, while The Snowdon has a small patio and side garden.
The site hosts various rallies and has ample room for many activities - full details on request.
A 3 min walk from the main entrance you`ll find a local family pub, and just a further 10min walk you`ll find a local Butchers, Chip shop, Co-Op and Spar
Our Campsite is also on the Sherpa Bus Route. The bus Stop is situated just at the bottom of the hill from the Campsite main entrance where you can catch a bus into Llanberis or Caernarfon every hour, a huge benefit to help avoid congestion and costly car parking in Llanberis if your planning to climb Snowdon.

Nearby Attractions
Just 3 miles from the picturesque village of Llanberis with its many tourist attractions including the famous Snowdon Mountain Railway station based in the village and one of the most popular starting points to walk up Snowdon.
Other firm favourites are The National Slate Museum and The Electric Mountain where a guided tour takes you on a bus to one of Europe`s largest man made cavern.
Three miles from the site lies the historic Royal Town of Caernarfon, where Prince Charles was invested at the magnificent castle as the Prince of Wales in 1969. The Welsh Highland Steam Railway starts from Caernarfon on its 25 mile run to Porthmadog, through Beddgelert and the Aberglaslyn Pass.
Central for the beaches of Lleyn Peninsula and Anglesey.

Owner Directions
From M56, Chester and onto the A55 the North Wales Coast Road, turn off at Junction 11, up the slip road signposted Llanberis.
Take the 2nd exit on the roundabout onto the A4244.
Continue for 2 miles until the next roundabout.
Take the 1st exit for Llanberis.
Continue for 2 miles and at the T junction turn right onto the A4086 signposted Caernarfon.
Pass village of Cwm y Glo and on entering the village of Llanrug near the 30 mph sign, turn left at The Glyntwrog Pub.
Carry on uphill for 500 mtrs, pass the bungalows and our large splayed site entrance is on your right.
