Camping Neuville (Camping Le Vieux Moulin) is a small family run site situated alongside the river Sarthe near the village of Neuville-Sur-Sarthe 9km/6 miles from centre of the historic town of Le Mans.
The 100 large pitches demarcated by mature trees and bushes are serviced with 16 amp electric hook ups and fresh running water and grey waste nearby. Pitches are in full shade, partial shade or full sun; you choose.
The campsite is within walking distance of the local village, Neuville-Sur-Sarthe. The village benefits from a supermarket, pharmacy, patisserie, hairdressers, butchers/delicatessen and restaurant/bar. The village has a railway station which takes you into the heart of Le Mans (7 mins.) with onward travel to major towns and cities including Paris (58 mins. TVG)
Set alongside the River Sarthe in 4 hectares (12 acres) containing more than 100 mature trees with at least 50 different varieties. Providing the perfect habitat for the resident red squirrels, bats, butterflies and many different birds. Giving you the prefect environment to take a deep breath; rest and unwind.
The site is equipped with a 10 x 5 m swimming pool, childrens play area, petanque bowldrome, table tennis and playing field for ball games. For those wishing to snooze under the warmth of the sun listening to the birds or reading a good book, there are quieter areas away from the main activities offering something for everyone.

In addition to the on site activities Le Mans commercial centre is within a short car journey (5 km/3 miles) where you will find a variety of shops/restaurants and activities including multi- screen cinema, karting, bowling, laser tag, soft play and fast food outlets.

Le Mans is known primarily for the 24-hour du Mans track and museum, however Le Mans and the Sarthe region has far more to offer.
