Come and enjoy `Wild Camping` at Maker. We have plenty of space to relax and unwind with stunning panoramic views.
Whether youre camping in a tent, caravan, or motorhome, our unspoiled site offers a truly wild experience.
Nestled under expansive skies with sea views and surrounded by birdsong, Maker Camp is located on the breathtaking South East Cornish coast. From here, your views stretch from the glimmers of light playing off Whitsand Bay on a summers eve, past Cawsand Bay, and across the South Devon Coast before turning back inland towards Dartmoor and Bodmin.
Pitches are interspersed with habitat zones of long grass, providing a home for ground-nesting Skylarks and beautiful butterflies.
Site facilities include toilets and showers, some with disabled access.
If you like being all lined up in rows with power hook-ups then sorry we are not for you!
Campfires are welcome in designated fire pits. Logs available by the sack from the reception shed.
We are a short walk from the villages of Kingsand and Cawsand with beaches, pubs and shops.
Traditional Yurts with woodburners available at reasonable rates.
Oscallys family run food wagon - Serving up wholesome fare all made from scratch each day, including hand cut chips, fresh salads, freshly squeezed juice, wraps, spicy bean chilli, and kids dishes. The charcoal grill will be lit on Fridays and Saturdays to include burgers, grilled chicken and other barbecued favourites. Enjoy a relaxed and laid back evening meal right here on the campsite.
The Guardhouse Cafe bar serves breakfast from 8am - 11:30 lunch 12:30 - 3 cakes, savoury snacks and hot drinks 3-4.. on Fridays and Saturdays we open all the way through till 10pm serving evening food 6-9 and a fully licensed bar.
The Canteen at Maker Heights is a family run business with an ever-changing menu depends on both what the local fishermen bring up the hill and the extensive array of fresh produce from local farmers and suppliers.
