Rhyd y Galen is an immaculately kept caravan and camping park only 15 minutes from the Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) footpath. There are beautiful views from the site towards Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon).
It is a tranquil destination, perfect for a quiet holiday. It is ideally situated for access to the outstanding views, leisure and outdoor activities offered by the area.
The mountains and lakes are on your doorstep, the seaside is a short drive away, as are major attractions such as Caernarfon Castle, Portmeirion and Zip World.
Set in 20 acres of farmland, that you are welcome to explore, Rhyd y Galen is conveniently located for all the attractions of the area. Most pitches have views of the Eryri (Snowdonia) mountain range.

If travelling along the North Wales Coast road A55, leave at junction 11. Take the first exit on the roundabout, then turn right at the mini roundabout. Follow signs towards Caernarfon on the B4366 for 3 miles. At the next roundabout you need to go straight ahead (2nd exit)towards Bethel. Proceed through the village of Bethel towards Caernarfon. Half a mile after leaving the village, the entrance to Rhyd y Galen is on the left.Look for the Welsh Dragon Flag.
If you are approaching from South and Mid Wales: follow the A470 to Trawsfynydd. Follow signs for Porthmadog (A487). From Porthmadog follow the A487 towards Caernarfon. In Caernarfon take the B4366. We are on the right.
