Opening Dates next year: 11/04/2025 to 28/09/2025
Beeches farm welcomes families, small groups, couples and individuals in tents, campervans, small caravans and motorhomes. Come and enjoy the view, an open fire and clean facilities.
Beeches Farm Campsite is a traditional, informal site with stunning views over the Wye Valley.
Dogs are welcome if kept under control.
Fire pits are provided but only wood purchased on the site is permitted to be burned.
We have two fields open to the public: our main camping field (which is usually open from April to October) and another large field, open for limited periods and suitable for small outdoor activity groups as well as for individuals & families. (N.B we are no longer hosting large groups on a regular basis).
If you wish to camp as a group with your friends or family please nominate a single group co-coordinator and make a group booking as we are not usually able to add to individual bookings.
HOOK UP AREAS: Please book early if you require a pitch with EHU as they go fast. N.B. EHU pitches tend not to have the best view as they are towards the back of the site.
GOD`S WINDOW: This area, overlooking Wales and the River Wye Valley, is usually reserved for single tents/families, not suitable for vans or groups (no EHU).
MODESGATE: Is an area for small groups or single tents. It is named after an old Anglo-saxon village found in the area.
STONEHENGE: This is a small group pitch near a big beech tree and has a large fire pit (1 EHU available).
MONKSROAD: Great for small groups with Tents, is by an ancient track along which the old monks used to travel to Tintern Abbey.
HAWTHORN: Perfect for families and larger tents and vans, situated against a hedge that offers good shelter and near a large flat playing area. (EHU available for some pitches).
OAKS CORNER: A quiet corner for groups with a towering old oak and a little view across a horse paddock (EHU available). WOODSIDE FIELD: ideal for families or small groups with plenty of room for children to play. It has access to all the campsite facilities as well as its own toilet block and is also supported by portable loos when the site is busy.
This field has four areas; Top of the field with access to 6 electric hook ups, the forest corner, the middle section and the lower level with a lovely view of the valley.
We have 14 hook-up points for tents around the site and a few that are suitable for vans as well. N.B EHU pitches may have a restricted view over the valley.
There are numerous drinking water taps sited around the field.
We have a recycling area, and we encourage you to use this correctly.
Every pitch has a fire pit but only fire wood purchased on site is permitted.
The toilet block has showers on a coin meter and a wash room. The showers are £1, which will give you 4 minutes.
There are 3 static caravans for hire. They are fully furnished and accommodate 4-5 people.
PODs: There are two wooden Pods (Sleep two) each with a double bed, light, heater and kettle, fire-pit, picnic table. The sheltered washing up sink/kitchen area & BBQ are shared between the two pods. You also have your own toilet near by: please contact us for details.
During the summer we usually have fresh free range eggs available.
There is a fridge and freezer for campers` use and charging lockers in reception suitable for mobiles and laptops.
You can reserve a toilet with a cold water sink for your exclusive use, accessible directly from outside (£5 per night).
Laundry room with Washing machine and dryer.
Booking-in-time is from 2pm for both camping and static or pod hire.
Departure at the end of your stay is by 11am to give us time to clean up ready for the next campers.
