Follow the A148 to Holt On the A148 at Holt there is a turning onto the Hempstead Road (Brown Tourist signs for Baconsthorpe Meadows and Baconsthorpe Castle) Follow the road for 3 miles and Baconsthorpe Meadows is clearly signed on the right hand side of the road

Baconsthorpe Castle is at the other end of the village, it is a ruin and a great spot for hide and seek and a picnic
