If approaching from Rugeley, (South) take the A51 towards Stone. When you reach Wolseley Bridge you will approach two round a bouts, take the lane for Stone A51, going over the river Trent bridge, then turn immediately left into Bishton Lane and follow the lane, going over the staggered crossroad - still continuing into Bishton Lane. Follow green signs for Carney Pools.

Travelling from the (North) on the A51 towards Rugeley you will come to Wolseley Bridge. On your right hand side there is a Petrol Garage. Opposite the garage, take the first left into Bellamour Lane, travel 100yds and turn left again into Bishton Lane. You will see signs for Carney Pools which will take you to the site.

Milford Common is a great place to visit and enjoy an ice cream, a Wimpey or just relax with a picnic.

Cannock Chase is easily accessed whether it be for mountain biking or a leisurely stroll. It is a classified as an area of outstanding natural beauty AONB with views as far as the eye can see. Why not visit Cannock Chase visitor centre and for more thrills - the "Go Ape" tree top challenge!
