Our Park is located in the village of Laide on the right-hand side of the A832 main coast road from Braemore Junction to Gairloch. Approaching from the north (which is the recommended route for caravans) the Park is about 29 miles from Braemore Junction which is itself on the A835(T) Inverness to Ullapool road. Leave Inverness on A9(T); take 2nd exit at Tore r`abt to A835; at next r`abt (Maryburgh) take 2nd exit to Ullapool. Pass through Contin & Garve and continue 20 miles to Braemore Junction. Turn left on to A832 and reach Laide 29 miles later.

The ruins of the Chapel of the Sand (said to have been built by St Columba) is adjacent to the Park.
The Russian Arctic Convoy Museum run by volunteers is a mile away while 8 miles away are the famous Scottish National Trust gardens at Inverewe. Near the gardens is the local indoor swimming pool whilst at Gailoch is a fascinating museum permanently open during the summer.
There are art galleries, a perfume factory & cafe, fishing trips, whale & dolphin spotting cruises and a whole host of other attractions close by.
Small markets are held on a weekly basis and feature local produce, baking, crafts, art work, antiques and a range of other interesting items on which to spend your money!
