Located on the edge of the village of Crowmarsh Gifford amongst unspoilt river-meadows, visitors to Bridge Villa are able to take a short walk over the part-medieval bridge with its 19 stone arches to the centre of the historic market town of Wallingford.
Cruises along the Thames depart daily from the bridge between May and September. Day boats can also be hired locally.
Wallingford has a long and proud history. Once King Alfred the Greats largest fortified new town, Wallingford was granted its Royal Charter in 1155 long before London and now boasts an excellent range of independent shops, restaurants and pubs as well as the regular Friday, Farmers and Local Produce markets.
