From the A12 at Foxhall roundabout take the Newbourne/Waldringfield exit. Take the second turning right, signed Newbourne and continue to the T junction. Turn right and right again when you come to a sharp left hand bend. This is a narrow concrete road - Jackson Road. The campsite is 600 yards along this road. Felixstowe has three separate parts - the docks and viewpoint with a prize winning cafe: the main strip with the beach, swimming pool, pier and amusements: and Old Felixstowe with the fishing boats and foot ferry to Bawdsey. If you fancy a trip to a lovely little market town Woodbridge is the perfect place - river walks and excellent restaurants too. Sutton Hoo with it`s fascinating history attracts many visitors, as does the nature reserve of Minsmere. You might spy a lesser spotted Springwatch presenter! A bit further afield are Aldeburgh and Southward, both well known East Anglian seaside resorts. The perfect stopover is Snape Maltings, with the concert hall, shops, cafes and galleries. Suffolk has something for everyone!
