From the West take the Greenhead turning left off the A69 then right on to the B6318 (Military road). Continue, passing the Milecastle Inn. Turn right after the pub at the brown Hadrian's wall campsite sign towards Melkridge. The campsite is less than 1/2 mile on the left hand side. From the East (best route for caravans) take the A68 north off the A69 towards Chollerford. Take the B6318 travelling West. Pass the Twice Brewed Inn and The Sill on your left and take the next left at the brown tourist sign. For cars and campervans travelling from the East, continue on the A69. There is a staggered crossroads at a speed camera with Melkridge signposted to the left. Take the right hand turn and follow the road for 2 miles. We are on the right
