This site is a hidden gem. Beautiful views of the the sea and hills and immaculately clean facilities, the best I've ever seen.
Barmouth just down the the road and a lovely pub 10 mins away with delicious food. Very friendly and helpful hosts.
Can't fault it.
Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again soon.

Nice big pitches easy booking in and pleasant staff. Good electric hook up. Showers were immaculate and well maintained however they were £1 for 6;minutes.
Barmouth was 4 miles down the road which had lots of small shops. We didn’t find any larger towns close but that may have been us.
Pleanty to do such as slate caverns, zip wire, steam railway if you travel about 40 minutes, and plenty of lovely walks and beach within walking distance approx 1 mile at a guess.
Amusement arcade and small shop and pubs within walking distance. Only gripe was the farm dogs which barked all night every night right behind the caravan.
We only paid £33 a night which included the bank holiday weekend so very reasonable price too. Lovely Indian take away and restraint in Barmouth itself. Plus co op and Iceland.
Site easy to find but coming through Barmouth itself can sometimes be quite narrow with the caravan.
Would recommend this site and visit again.

Lovely site. Good location.
The only downside was having to pay for showers.
£1 per 6 minutes. Having paid £30 per night x2 pitches it should have been included and we'd have booked again but this will make us look elsewhere next time.

Very basic camping site across a couple of fields grass only, toilet block very good and clean.
No frills and a bit overpriced for EHU in a field with no extras.
About 4. 4 miles from Barmouth so quite a walk to the facilities, there are no pathways so when weather is inclement will get muddy quickly.
Very dark at night
Rough Road up to the site.

Beautiful site, well laid out & huge pitches.
People were really friendly & there was no noise at night.
Really peaceful setting. Facilities looked new & were spotless.
Only negative was having to pay for showers which we thought should have been included in the fees of £35pn.
Definitely wouldn't put us off though, loved it here!

Excellent site. Toilet block is modern and very clean. Good washing up area, with fridge and freezer.
The local railway station/halt is within easy walking distance. Excellent walk along the Ysgethin valley, which I have done many times over many years, and this gives excellent access onto the Rhinog mountains.
I didn't stay for a few more nights due to noisy neighbours arriving late evening and making a noise all night! Not the fault of the site owners, but maybe they need to limit the arrival time or emphasise the need to be quiet.
I intend to return.

A beautiful campsite; pitches placed around the edge of a large field with views to the sea. Stone walls around the field provide privacy.
The facilities are pristine, well maintained and we learned to use the slot machine to have a 1-2 minute shower or a £1 luxury 6 minute shower, very welcome after a days walking with a swim in the sea a short walk away. Coastal path nearby and bus route/ train station.
One can walk straight from the campsite up the wooded path along the river to join the mountain trails.
