Very pleasant location, little lacking on fresh water taps which does not help when in a motorhome. Owners very pleasant and polite.

Public transport is reasonable particularly the train, only about an 8 minute walk to the station.

Site improvements are underway with the building of a new toilet block which will greatly enhance your stay. To be completed by easter 2021.

Nearest grocery shop, next village approximately mile and a half's drive.

What a fabulous site!. Beautiful, gimmick free, clean site. Owners are great too. Helped with advice as our car decided to break down!

Children and dog friendly. Easy walk to the pub and not too much further from the beach. Lots of room to play and pitches are a great size.

Great base for touring around. Recommend. Absolutely!

We had such a lovely bank holiday weekend!. This campsite is a warm and friendly family run campsite set around beautiful scenery and a short walk to the beach and short drive to Barmouth which is beautiful!

The showers and toilets were always kept very clean, field was lovely and spacious and set away from the road so we felt at ease allowing our children to safely play. The campsite was quiet and peaceful.

There was plenty of things for us to do rain or shine. The prices were reasonable and owners were really friendly. We will definitely come back again and recommending friends and family!

We arrived at the site just before dark having abandoned our planned stay on Shell Island. The site is well kept with level pitches, clean toilet facilities and pleasant owners.

We paid £10 per night for a camping pitch with no minimum stay, great considering it was a bank holiday weekend. The site is away from the road but still offers views of the bay and Lleyn peninsula.

There is a pub about ten minutes walk from the site and Barmouth just a few miles down the road.

We will visit again and highly recommend the site for great value!

This a superb location with great potential.

Mainly level pitches with some hook-ups.

Basic toilet facilities but kept very clean, but shower rooms disappointing with a lack of hooks in the ladies' shower and no separation (not even a shower curtain) to allow clothes to remain dry; nor any stool or bench to sit on - and why charge 50pence for ladies and £1 for men? At £20 a night we'd expected better.

Some of the camping clientele appeared to think they were attending a festival, judging by the loud music emanating from their end of the field.

It's a pity the potential of this site has not been realised by the owners, they could have a gem !
