We chose this site as we were meeting with friends who live locally to run lots of public footpaths and plot some routes for future runs.
There were lots of public footpaths where we could run and also take out dog running with us.
Great facilities, good shower block and toilets with all requirements met.
Really helpful couple who own the site whom helped us plan some fantastic runs.
They actually invited us in for a cup of tea when we first arrived. The owners offered lots of local information.
We visited The Granary Grill for an evening meal which was good; we recommend this restaurant which is based tab Weston Park.

An ok site for a couple of nights, clean but dated facilities. The grass was far too long and the whole site a little rough. Very quiet apart from the duck shoot which we were warned about.
As said, it's way out in the country but there is a shop at the garage on the A5 just past the Bradford Arms (left onto the main road from the site).
Nowhere really to walk the dog, but the lanes are quiet and if you turn right out of the site there is a wood with access.
If coming from the west, don't take the first turn signed Blymhill, this is a tiny single track road with grass down the middle. The 2nd turn is a bit better.
£15 per night is too much for what is on offer.

The area had suffered unusual amounts of rainfall during the period before our arrival, resulting in one of the access roads to the hamlet being a foot under water and the site itself so wet that the very friendly owners had been unable to cut the grass for some time.
We were advised whilst en route not to drive onto the grass area when we arrived. As there was only ourselves and a tenter on the site that night we were able to park on the tarmac perimeter track and, with wellies, take our hook-up cable across the swampy ground to the service post in the roughish grass area.
The site is really out in the sticks, with the only sounds being rural - birds, sheep, etc. The toilets and showers are in a container-type building which seemed a bit off-putting but once inside the facilities were of good quality and very clean.
It’s difficult to give ratings when you don’t know what it’s like under normal weather conditions. The grass seemed quite coarse and uneven, but we couldn't tell what the field is like during ‘average’ weather and when it has been regularly mown. It's a nice quiet little site for a stop-over but we’d like to see it under normal circumstances before committing to a repeat longer stay.

We stayed here for two nights over a weekend based on the reviews above. I agree with it being a really lovely setting and with the owners being really friendly and helpful. Plenty of hook ups and taps, nice and quiet - I would just confirm price with the owner before you get there as charges seemed to differ from camper to camper, we were charged £10 per person per night while others we talked to only paid £12 per night flat rate. There is one shower/ toilet cubicle for each sex and there were quite big queues both mornings to use the toilets/showers for both ladies and gents. Separate toilet and shower would be much better so that people just needing the toilet wouldn't have to wait for a queue of people to have a shower first. The toilet kept running out of toilet paper while we were there and although the owner will restock when you ask, I would suggest you take your own - no hand drying facilities in the toilet either. Also as previous reviews have stated nowhere to wash your pots. But it was a gorgeous little campsite and I would definitely recommend it if you're happy with the relatively basic facilities for the price

Lovely site in beautiful surroundings. I can understand why our 'neighbours' come back year after year.
We were only there one night as we had an appointment the following day in Telford and also needed to be elsewhere afterwards. We wish we had been able to just stay at the site.
The facilities are in what looks like an old shipping container and give pause for thought from the outside but the inside is spotless with separate male and female loo and shower.
There is no washing up provision.
All pitches had EHU and water. It's no good looking for someone to take the pitch fee as it's a working farm - you pitch up and wait for the very friendly and helpful host to come and collect her dues.
We had an early start in the morning and the host was very helpful in giving us directions to where we needed to be.

I wasn't going to do a review of this place because I wanted it to myself and tell no-one!
My wife and I stayed just one night, as we were visiting nearby RAF Cosford the following day.
What a magic little site, set in a small, almost paddock sized field with a gravel track going around the edge. Plenty of hookups and taps. As written by a previous reviewer the toilet block does look a bit scruffy - from the outside - Inside it's spotless, which is all that matters, is it not? It's a credit to the very friendly owner of the site. Fresh eggs in a little hut, complete with honesty box sit alongside.
The site is very quiet, yet 5 minutes from the main road. Superb sunsets and a big field for children to run around in is next to the site. All for £10 incl. E. H. , . You can't go wrong.
The quiet lane by the site is great for walking the dog. With only staying one night we had no time to explore, so what's on offer close by I have no idea, sorry.
I spoke to people who were staying the week. I can understand why!
A gem of a site, so after you have stayed here, don't write a review. Let's keep it to ourselves!

We had not intended to stop here. We were on our way to Church Stretton but time was running out and it was dark. We pulled into the field in the dark and were kindly helped / directed by a fellow camper. What a lovely surprise we had the next morning to find ourselves in such lovely surroundings!
The field was kept well-cut and the adjacent 'wild area' was great for children and for wild-life. I was a little dubious when I first saw the facilities from the outside, but needn't have been, as they were immaculate. Even DVDs and books were there - available to borrow. The 'honesty box' for the eggs was another nice touch.
As we were moving on, we had no time to explore the area, but for us, as a stop-over, it couldn't have been better, and at a price of £10 / night with electricity, we were very impressed. Thank you.

A little gem of a site, Stayed there for the Midland Game Fair which is just down the road.
Everything spick and span and just the type of site we love. Lots of hot water, lots of piece and quiet and lots of room to walk the dog.
Ticks every box for us and a warm welcome as well booked next years spaces for the Fair again before word gets out
All for a tenner for the night which includes electric hookup !

This site most definitely caters for caravans rather than tents. Although the toilet facilities were clean, modern and comfortable (if a little hornet-ridden at times), there was only one toilet & shower per gender.
Also, there were no washing up facilities, so we had to use our own washing-up bowl and heat up lots and lots of hot water in order to have clean dishes.
There was plenty of space per unit, fresh water and electricity was well provided and the roads were extremely quiet. The site had a nature walk and picnic area, fresh eggs from the farm and a tyre swing for the little ones.
All told, it was a fantastic little site, handy for lots of local attractions, just a shame about the washing up - a simple outside sink & drainer would have been a valuable addition.

This site is beautiful and we really enjoyed it. Toilets and showers the cleanest we've seen, there is one for ladies and one for men. Just after getting there the owners came to meet us and said to park wherever we wanted, they were very friendly and really helpful, suggested walks for us and offered us milk and eggs to buy. We bought some eggs there were scrumptious, you must buy some when you go! The site has some good views and is really peaceful. Pitches have hook ups and there is a CDP and grey water disposal.
This is a site we feel we will definitely go back to and would strongly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful, chilled, relaxing break. Thank you to the lovely owners we know you're very proud of your site and you most certainly should be as it really shows.
