Excellent small CL site. Very quiet and away from hustle and bustle.
Water tap, electric hookup and CDP.
John, the owner takes great pride in his site and everything is friendly, clean and safe.
Excellent for walking and cycling. Local pubs within 1 mile. Great value for money.
Would strongly recommend.

We visited this site for four nights on the first outing with our van - we normally keep it on a seasonal pitch - and we're very pleased we had done so. Frogs Hall is a very basic but pretty site down a narrow lane which is easy to miss (we did!).
It's very neatly kept, the owner is pleasant and helpful, leaving us an information pack of the area and a personal note which was a nice touch. There are plenty of places to visit around or you can just enjoy the quiet, solitude and birdsong which surrounds you.
We were very lucky with the weather which always helps.

Very pleasant surroundings. Owners couldn't have been more helpful - loan of an extension lead for the unit and provided an individual information pack on the area.
No road noise, just bird song, nicely presented and kept - remember though no wc's so own sanitation essential (the only reason for an '8' in facilities, but 10 for those that were there!)
Would certainly return.

Just back from 16 nights at Frogs Hall What a wonderful little site, it is so peaceful and secluded yet has many places to visit nearby Helmingham Hall gardens, Bressingham Steam Museum and stunning gardens, Eye, Diss, Southwold, Aldeburgh, Thetford (Dads Army museum) and Woodbridge to name just a few. We cycled through many poppy lined country lanes with their quaint thatched villages stopping now and then at the many village inns, the pub at Yaxley good beer at a reasonable price, also The Oaksmere Hotel excellent food.
We spotted woodpeckers, owls, pheasants, partridge, duck and ducklings, jays, squirrels and hares just from our caravan window. We found the owners super hosts who went out of their way to help. Can not wait to go back.

I can only echo the previous comments here and add some well-deserved stars for the efforts of hosts John and Denyse.
This is a glorious and beautifully kept little site where you can get away from it all. It's flat, sheltered by a lovely variety of trees and there are hook-ups, a fresh water supply and chemical disposal.
It is wonderfully remote so you will need some kind of transport for days out but some decent pubs and the pretty little town of Eye are a short bike ride away. Owner provide welcome packs with cycling and walking routes.
The only minor gripe is some distant traffic noise from the A140 but don't let that put you off.
We love these little sites and this is up there with the best.

Great little site in very secluded location which now has e hook up. Very friendly owners provided great local information in form of brochures and maps etc. A map of all the local pubs and restaurants was very useful and most are in easy cycling distance(1. 5 to 5 miles) away.
The town of Eye is a couple of miles away which has shops and other facilities. I did the walking tour of the town which was quite interesting and had good views from the top of the castle ruins.
The area is great for cycling with quiet country lanes with mostly just farm traffic. Several cycle routes have been set up and sign posted which are in the brochures.
I had never visited this part of East Anglia before and was very surprised with the picturesque villages, thatched houses and pleasant countryside.
The villages of Thornham Magna and Thornham Parva are just over a mile away and there are walks and activities in the Thornham Field Centre (www. Thornham. Org. Uk)for all ages. I went on the Archaeology tour of the Thornham Estate which was very interesting, see brochure on line for details. There is a 12th Century thatched pub, the Four Horseshoes, in the Village (Magna) which is very nice and serves good food.
Overall this is great site to get way from it all and relax. A must to go back to.

What more can I say, that hasn't been said before. We only stayed 5 nights at Frogs Hall, but wish it had been much longer. Denise and John were so friendly and helpful, Denise even gave us a drive around the village of Eye on our first morning there, to get a feel for the place.
As mentioned in previous reviews, the site is reasonably flat, sheltered and enclosed, on a very quiet lane.
No toilets or showers so you do need to be self-sufficient, but so peaceful and restful. Just the place to chill out and relax with only the wildlife for company.
We will definitely be back.
As detailed in their website, you do need to be eagle-eyed to see the signpost in to Braiseworth Lane as it is easy to miss! However their directions are excellent.
