If you are looking for a quiet Adult only hideaway site in the middle of the countryside, then we have just spent a week there.
Frog's Hall is a lovely site, an extension of the owners - Denise and John's garden really. Electric hookups, water, CDP and dustbins are the facilities, all in an enclosed garden with lovely trees to give some shelter.
Three good pubs within a short drive, all doing good food, we had a carvery Sunday lunch at the Black Horse in Thorndon and would highly recommend it. Eye is a very small town but has some good shops.
Would definitely recommend for a visit.

We would just like to let previous reviewers and new tourers know that as of April 2012 this site will be offering electric hook-ups.

The minimum facilities they have are of easy access and brand new.
The welcome from this great couple is so friendly sometimes I forgot I had only just met them.
Its a pretty little site and you camp amongst some beautiful trees.
The one drawback is it has no hookup which does tend to limit your stay as the solar panel is not much good under the trees.
All in all a smashing site and we wish them well.

Sometimes when you find the quiet campsite, which is perfect to you, there is a reluctance to advertise it to others in case it becomes too well known and consequently difficult to book, however as the site owners, Denise and John made us feel so welcome, and at ease in their beautiful meadow/garden, which is bordered by trees (See the pictures on their web site) it is in fairness to them for all their work and investment that we are leaving this review.
The site, which opened in the April this year, is a flat and sheltered, with a chemical disposal point and a tap for drinking water. The gate to the meadow is kept locked with a combination padlock that gave a feeling of added security when away from site.
We enjoyed some lovely walks and it felt very safe cycling on the quiet country roads.
If you enjoy peace and tranquillity and being able to immerse yourself in the stunning countryside then this is the place to be.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we cannot wait to return.
