Good simple place to stop. Elsan waste and water provided, otherwise it's a fenced field with hardstanding for 2-3 units (plenty of grass space).

Good pub right next door, another a couple of hundred yards away, Indian resto and cafe as well.

Really nice spot, great for dogs with the canal paths (and others).

Since we were alone, the dogs enjoyed being able to run around.

Best avoid the grass when it's wet though!

This is a fantastic site, well kept and well positioned.

It has no facility block or electric so you must provide your own, which was fine for us.

We only stayed for 2 nights but wished we had the time to stay longer.

We will certainly return.

Very pleasantly situated close to the Grand union canal. Very quiet grass site with plenty of space to pitch.

Firm ground so vehicles should get off site easily.

Two fresh water taps plus one by the chemical disposal point situated in another field.

No electric points but that was no problem for us. Plenty of bins well labelled so no mixing of general waste with paper etc.

Owners very amenable and friendly when I spoke on the 'phone.

Really relaxing site with two pubs alongside canal plus tow path for a relaxing walk.

Lovely site in superb location adjacent to the Grand union Canal and close to the charming village of Stoke Bruerne. Stayed as our original site we were due to visit was too wet to use, but were able to utilise the hardstanding spaces at Home Farm.

We were travelling with our grandson, who was so interested in the barges and locks, loved the walks and the canal boat trip. Even had a go at painting traditional Roses and castles canal art on site as he has intrigued by the painting on all the boats.

Great weekend. Owner lovely and always helpful. Basic facilities on site, but we were aware of that and it did not bother us, as have all own facilities

It's a field with a tap, a drain and some bins. It is next door to an excellent pub.

It is right next to the towpath in an interesting village on the Grand union canal.

It is £12. What's not to like?

Easy to book and very responsive to emails.

The site is well signposted from the main road and is a lovely quiet location with hard standing available.

Perfect for our needs.

Well recommended.

A lovely little site by the Grand union canal. Stoke Bruerne is a picturesque village with two pubs that are now open after lockdown. We ate in the Boat Inn which was excellent. There is a canal Museum which would normally be open and worth a visit. There are canal boat rides which go into the Blisworth Tunnel, one of the longest on the canal system.

The site is near Northampton and is about 3 miles from the M1.

Bletchley Park is within easy reach as is Silverstone. Also Stowe House and Gardens are within a few miles and good for spending the day walking in the grounds.

The site is next to a pub car park but there is little noise from it.

We have used the site least twice a year over the last five years as we have family in Northampton and also it is a handy stop on our way to and from Portsmouth before heading back home to York.

At £10 per night it is great value, the owner regularly visits and have been helpful if we have had any problems.

Highly recommend.

Was passing by and decided to stay overnight as such a beautiful area and lovely site. Owners very accommodating and helpful, as were the other campers. Enjoyed lovely walks along the canal with my two dogs, and peaceful chilling out in the field. I will definitely go back to this very nice site. Added bonus is that it provides good value for money at £9 pn.

Limited facilities but what they have is very good, and site is lush and seems to be very well maintained. There is water and emptying, plus rubbish and recycling.

The other reviews say it all. A little gem. One chap in a motor home was being nasty to another MH camper. Got short shift from the owner and told to leave. Excellent management. Very professional.

The local area is really very interesting. Museum, pubs and a Indian restaurant.

We will be adding this to our favourite list.

We stayed at this site on our way up to Yorkshire. Perfect location and has been said only a stones throw away from the canal and the local pubs. No facilities - but of course we didn't need them. Great walks for the dog too. Very pleasant owner and very reasonable price. Definitely worth a visit.
