Excellent quiet site, near to Croyde beach.
Toilets/Showers slightly dated, but excellent and clean.
Pitches fine, slightly sloping.
Short walk to the beach (10 mins)
Very close to Croyde village, and plenty of eating places.
Will visit again.

Stopped here some years ago so know the area quite well. We chose this site based on reviews and because it seems the quieter choice.
Had problems with very noisy neighbours who were up in the awning playing loud music until 2am three nights in a row. Spoke to site manager who got us moved but then had barking dogs for another 2 days until they moved on! Credit to site staff who did their best for us.
Plenty of toilets, showers and washing up facilities. Not always the cleanest but large amounts. On site. There are a food places to eat on site - fish and chips and pizza on site. This is handy when you have kids.
The beach is a 10min walk but if you have beach junk, it is quite a big climb back. We purchased a trolley which was great.
Lots of space for kids to play and explore so a big bonus for us.
Having the issues with barking dogs and loud music did ruin our holiday a bit, however the site managers did what they could.

Stayed for one week in a static caravan, original booking was for camping but made last minute change as weather didn't look good, staff handled the change very quickly.
Static was great, had a good look at camping facilities also, all very clean and plentiful.
The separate wetsuit rinsing area is a great idea.
All staff were lovely and helpful, access to very good surfing beach is a very easy ten minute walk.
Had a good look around the village, some nice but very expensive places to eat.
Also looked at the other local csmpsites, Bay View is the best of them,
Hope to return soon, hopefully in our tent.

This site has a really great location almost in Croyde village itself. It is long and narrow though and our pitch was penultimate to the top of the hill (back of site).
This made the walk to the village and beach feel much longer (particularly on the way back up the hill!).
If I visited again I might try to request a pitch nearer the front which was also a little more open - although you do get some stunning views across the bay at the top.
Facilities were good with a fish n chips / pizza on site which we used, plus a small shop.
Toilets were adequate without being amazing. I noted a lot more sites the other side of the road but they either didn't cater for tourers and / or they also seemed a little more free and easy with the rules (ie noisy) - which you may like or may not like.
Overall this seemed to be the best campsite in Croyde for tourers and would recommend.

Beautifully situated site a short walk from Croyde and the beach.
The facilities are really good and clean, and staff are often around and checking the toilets, etc.
There is a fish and chip/pizza shop at the entrance of the site, but would advise ordering early for pizza, as this is very popular.
Pitches are sloping and can be close together during busy times.
The only negative we had was a large family group close to us who were noisy late at night.
Otherwise, we would highly recommend this site.

This site is well worth a visit, its laid out well, facilities are great and the staff very helpful. There is plenty of room and a large children's play area in the woods.
Plenty of toilets, showers and washing up facilities on site plus a little laundry They do a lovely fish and chips as well as pizza on site. Croyde itself is a beautiful little village with two great pubs and a number of shops and cafe.
The beach is a 10min walk from the site, it is very clean and the surf is great.
Croyde is handy as a base to tour the area. We managed to visit numerous places from Minehead down to Bude. You have to get out early and come back late as there is at bottle neck at Braunton as the road from Croyde is a little narrow at some points, would not let this put you off towing a van down it though.
We would certainly go back there.

Absolutely the best camp site in Croyde.
I have been coming for over 10 years to Croyde and I have stayed in all of the Camp sites around the area.
The Family who own the site are very friendly and always very helpful.
Very clean and well kept site, toilets and showers thoroughly cleaned daily - spotless.
Superb view of Croyde Bay from the site, watch the sun set into the Sea with a superb Red Sky,
Croyde Village is a few minutes walk down the road, you can also walk to the beach in about 10 minutes.
10/10

First stay at this site, chosen because we love Croyde beach!
A warm welcome on arrival and the staff were friendly throughout our stay. Nice sized pitch close to the amenities which were superb. Warm toilet and shower area with hot, free showers. Good dish washing facilities
Useful wet suit cleaning facilities and laundry area also.
The best part of the site is the close proximity to the village and the beach. 2 minutes walk to the village, 10 minutes walk to the beach, we hardly drove anywhere all week.
Croyde pubs are all lovely although eating out expensive but to be expected.
An absolutely fabulous week, would definitely go back.

What a lovely campsite. Fabulous views over the ocean. However the drawback to this is that the breeze comes straight at the campsite. With hindsight, I would have pitched sideways on, but upon arriving for the first time who would resist pitching maximise the view. Having an open awning probably didn't help either. Lesson learned fore next time.
Couldn't fault the facilities. Never, ever had to wait or queue for a hot shower or the toilets. Very friendly staff only too willing to help.
Only a short walk into town, or the beach. The walk up the hill behind the site is also highly recommended. The only gripe, and it is a small one, is that the paid for wifi (two teenagers) was a bit rubbish, and could cater for streaming. Not good value for an extra £25. 00.
All in all, a good holiday and will definitely come again.
