Quiet site with excellent shower/toilet facilities.
Good location for walking and cycling.
Interesting collection of birds, especially owls and assorted animals.
The only minor fault is an antiquated chemical disposal unit.
We would stay again.

There's nothing we dislike about this site, been there a few times, we love it proximity to the lakes, looking at the animals and the aviary, peaceful and the friendly lady who come to greet you.

Lovely, quiet and scenic.
Loved waking up to birds chirping and seeing farm animals playing.
Perfect for our young kids to feel free and be surrounded by nature.

Our fourth visit to Linskeldfield Farm. This site is so well situated for touring the North Lakes and surrounding areas.
The owners of the site, (Marion and her family), have done a wonderful job in making the site so special.
The facilities here are superb, new heated toilet and shower block, as well as a little farm area for the children to see Lamas, baby goats, and Emus😊
There is also an exotic bird aviary with some extremely interesting species to be enjoyed.
A new nature walk around the tarn is an ideal morning walk for our “four legged” friends as well as providing an excellent viewing area for the numerous wild fowl which visit.
My wife and I thoroughly recommend Linskeldfield Farm for a holiday stay, be it tent caravan or indeed Motorhome / camper van

Nothing to dislike about this site. Lovely views, friendly welcoming and helpful owners. Very clean, heated toilet facilities and free showers.
Taps for each hard standing pitch. Great walk round the turn in the morning and evening with our two Shelties.
Lots of animals and exotic birds and a play park for the children away from the site area for those that prefer the peace so perfect for everyone.
All at a very fair price too. Not far from Cockermouth lovely town with all you need. Site is very rural with single lane roads to get to it but still ok with a caravan.
Site has a “shop” where you can get eggs fruit and veg and locally made chocolate it’s unmanned and has an honesty box for payment.

We found the site difficult to locate because we didn't come from Carlisle or Kendal which the directions assumed.
However once in the right area there were clear signs to follow. We had a warm and helpful welcome from the farmer when we arrived.
The toilet block was very modern, clean and the best we've ever seen on a certificated site.
The other plus factor which we were unaware of before we found it is the miniature zoo on the farm with many exotic and colourful birds and some interesting animals too.
WE will be visiting again.
